It’s never too early for a Christmas story

Christmas is a very special time of the year. It’s the time of the year where the spirit of giving is most evident, but you don’t have to wait until Christmas time to plan a trip to the “A Christmas Story House” at 3159 W 11th St, Cleveland. Any time is indeed a good time to make a trip there in a Cleveland charter bus – but don’t go alone, it will be much more fun if you bring along your wife and kids. In fact, if you enjoy going on trips in groups, you may also want to consider inviting your friends of the family to come along too. And if you happen to be a fan of the movie, you will definitely enjoy this trip.

A Christmas Story House is now fully restored to its glory of how it was during the production of the movie, and right across from it is the official A Christmas Story House Museum. Hence, when you make your plan for a trip to check out the Christmas Story House with your family and friends, you are actually killing two birds with a stone; as you can also go across the street after you are done touring the Christmas Story House and visit the museum to see the displays of the original props, decos, costumes and souvenirs of the film itself. From August 1st onwards, they are open 7 days a week. Their usual hours of operation are from Thursdays to Saturdays, from 10am till 5pm and on Sundays, they are open from 12noon till 5pm and are closed on Mondays to Wednesdays as well as on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year and major holidays.

The tours at A Christmas Story House runs every half an hour, with the first tour starting at 10:15am (it’s at 12:15pm on Sundays), with the last tour at 4:30pm. When you and your entourage arrive at A Christmas Story House, you will be glad that you have chartered a bus for the trip because if you have driven there yourselves, finding a parking spot could be a little tricky for everyone. First stop upon arriving at the grounds of A Christmas Story House will be at the gift shop, where you will need to purchase your tickets for the tour and you can either browse through the items that are for sale at the gift shop then or return later after you are through with the tour. One of the famous items on sale at the gift shop is the leg lamps. Photography is allowed, so don’t forget to bring your camera!
